Roles and Responsibilities:
- Organize building engineering work group who include architect, structure, building mechanical and fire alarm and firefighting system engineers
- Coordinate work of engineering work group
- Summarize client requirements for building design activities with work group
- Prepare building engineering execution plan and estimation work plan
- Prepare building subcontract work package with work group and evaluate proposal issued by subcontractors
- Review and sign off key engineering documents and ensure engineering is executed in accordance with project requirements, including quality, safety, operability, maintainability, reliability, and constructability
- Prepare and issue reports on engineering progress and status, and on other project control statistics. Coordinate engineering cost and change control activities
- Supervise technical documentation and vendor data distribution and control
- Participate in all technical, design, and hazard reviews and quality audits
- Participate in interface activities associated with client technical staff
- Coordinate engineering interface activities with procurement, construction, and plant services
- Coordinating discipline design work, calculations, drafting, etc.
Requirement:
The wide knowledge on Internationally recognized building codes including local codes – e.g. International Building Code (IBC), ASCE, AISC, ACI, ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IEC Or equivalent
